Who Is InTuition?

Tuition (n) - the act or profession of teaching.
Intuition (n) - immediate apprehension or cognition.

I like to teach and learn.

Jacob - a Tallahasee native, a husband, and father of five. I completed a B.S. in Physics in 2008 and an M.S. in Science Education in 2010 both from Florida State University. I taught in public and private school for 13 years as a full-time science and math teacher which I very much enjoyed. Recently I have been working in accident reconstruction and in my "spare time" I enjoy doing what I can to expand my knowledge and understanding of . . . stuff. Stuff is currently programming and software development. Some cool experiences I have had related to learning other stuff were a week long experience at Fermilab (current home to Muon g-2, MicroBooNE, MINERvA, NOvA, and others) and a six week RET program at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory where my group analyzed superconducting materials using an electron scanning microscope.
